People out here “doing math” and posting it online making me think people have been doing meth beforehand. I saw someone tit earlier say that the 80s was nearly 50 years ago. 1989 was 33 years ago (34 years ago if you’re already in 2023, but I’m not). Last time I checked, 17 of a difference (in this case over 1/3) wasn’t “nearly” unless I was doing a balance sheet in school or college and I got it to within €17 of it balancing.
Imagine walking into a store to buy something for 50 quid and saying to the cashier “I nearly have it, I have 33 quid, will you let me away with that?”, what do you think the response would be?

Ya, this doesn’t sound like a good idea. This is up there with programming and training robots to shoot guns. I’m getting some disturbing Judgement Day vibes right now and the machines becoming self aware.
