no not a fond memory for anybody. my grandfather hated every minute of his military experience but it’s history nonetheless.

that may be it then to be honest he didn’t have exact year either he’s always been a little hazy. but after his departure from vietnam due to bayonet he healed and got sent back to the guard so sounds right.

honestly couldn’t say. he was recalling to me the story of this day and someone was on a rooftop of a parking garage shooting at him in he said Jersey. Although his discharge from the military was a bayonet to the forehead in Vietnam so he could be mixing it up
