Towns want people to go so they try moving them around. My town has Town Meeting on Monday night. Then has voting by Australian ballot on Tuesday.

Reply to Any folks with experience working for Porter Medical Center or Rutland Regional Medical Center? (Bonus if RN) by Detritus_AMCW
I donāt work at Porter but live in Addison County and use that hospital. Everyone there is so nice and helpful. Super small, I think 35 beds, so take that into consideration! Of course, like everywhere else, we love nurses!

Reply to UVM too expensive by Constant_Education_4
Same happened with my kids, SUNY schools offered them some money, UVM nothing. They ended up going to expensive private schools that gave them tons of merit money making it much less than instate UVM.

Reply to Thinking about visiting Vermont early November next year for honeymoon, suggestions? by DeadlyClowns
I love November here! Wayyyyy less people, cold or warmer but great views because the leaves are off the trees. If youāre hiking on trails, you are totally safe from anyone hunting, just wear something orange for an added layer of safety. Lots more Airbnbs available.

Reply to Why Phil Scott again? by rufustphish
Iām a Democrat;what I like about Phil Scott is that I feel like he makes choices based on what he really feels is best, not what his party line is. I think heās a real person, not a puppet. Do I agree with every choice,no, but thatās okay. Iāll keep voting for him for that reason.
