I mean, both parts are unnecessary for the larger conversation. Going "haha he's copying the GOP" doesn't accomplish or contribute much (and trust me, I can't stand the GOP either). So is the "both sides" argument, and its inherently dismissive, by going "yeah but both sides do it!" Implies that if the original person WAS making a factual statement about the "GOP playbook", that it would be completely acceptable because "hey the other side is doing it too!". Overall very unproductive conversation for everyone involved and poor word choices

Yes and then they said there are other ways to support a picket line. You're allowed to say multiple things, crazy I know. Saying I want a million dollars, and then later saying I want a yacht, doesn't mean I no longer want the million dollars. I wish people would get off of the "AHA BUT YOU SAID A DIFFERENT THING AFTERWARDS, SO IT CANCELS OUT 🤓" mindset. Also, saying everyone should join a picket line is obvious hyperbole, its something you would've learned about in middle school. They're obviously showing support for the strikers and encouraging other people to show support. If I have a bad day at work, and say "I wish everyone would leave me alone", doesn't mean I want everyone in the world to magically stop interacting with me. Do better

As someone who used to work in the security field. Shotspotter's entire MO is pandering to local PDs to convince whatever city/town they reside in to spend way too much money for a copaganda piece. They're relatively ineffective at what they're "intended" to do, and great at giving cops an excuse to mobilize to certain areas because "shotspotter went off". Garbage overpriced tech either way

I don't know how much emulation you do, but if you're a big fighting came person, look into fightcade. Its basically an emulator setup for fighting games that has rollback netcode and matchmaking so you can play online against randos (or with friends!). The 1up arcades that were mentioned above are cool, but imo they are very over priced for the quality and what actually comes with them (they are also weirdly small imo)
