Reply to Good/memorable stage stunts? by BoostedBonozo202
Not really a stunt but Slash and Axl Rose smoking on stage in the middle of Rocket Queen in 1988 was pretty fucking cool. The energy and build up to when Axl starts signing again was incredible.
It’s one of the most memorable live moments I’ve seen on YouTube and I don’t even like Guns N Roses that much

Reply to When you tell people which bands/artists you like, how much of their music have you heard? by lostgirl4774
I’m only comfortable saying that I love two bands and I’ve heard 99% of their songs
I’ll say I like an artist or band even if I only know 5 of there songs

Reply to Bring back the good era of songs! by swordelt
I actually prefer the Doja Cat, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Khalid era over 50 Cent, Katy Perry, Eminem
The newer stuff seems to be slightly more influence by indie music for whatever that’s worth

Reply to Is modern day country not good? by caelbbrown
Plenty of good stuff but it’s just not for me anymore
Modern Pop country, mostly played on the radio, might be good for parties and get togethers, but for me, it’s still too dumb - maybe if I was drunk enough and in the right setting I could tolerate it
Modern Alternative and outlaw country is the same 5 or 6 songs over and over and it’s not getting any better. I can’t defend it anymore. I got tired of hearing the words “whiskey” or “angel” in every other song lol
To this day, I feel like Willie Nelson is the most creative, innovative, expressive, genuine artists in country and he’s a dinosaur. Not great when your most progressive artist is 100 years old. A lot of these new guys are trying too hard to be country and you can feel it

Steely Dan - It’s a toss up between Dirty Work and Peg
Dirty work might as well be Chicago. Too 70s sounding for my taste. A few other songs could probably fit this description, especially on CBAT. I love Steely Dan because they generally don’t sound like all of the other bands in the 70s
In Peg, I absolutely hate Michael McDonald screaming PEEAG at the top of the chorus. It’s not a bad song, but it’s extremely popular and that’s why it makes my list

Reply to Q. What do you feel when you stop and listen to songs you listened to at the peak of your teenage years? by Rae_esah
Anywhere from neutral to embarrassed with a few exceptions, particularly Pink Floyd and Steely Dan
