If it was put out correctly, report it on SeeClickFix/leave it out and they will get it picked up. And then the city will be aware of it being left in the first place.

One problem I have with it is that the main look-up portion now brings up a security warning because it's HTTP rather than HTTPS. So going from the main city site tax info page to the system to look up/'add to cart' is going through an insecure site. I've been in touch with the tax office multiple times about this but they claim it's not a problem because the actual payment portion is secure again. I think this looks really bad, and I think some browsers might have security settings that actually prevent filling out insecure forms. Personally, I don't trust it and actually sent a check! (Previously I'd been doing it online.)
