In the 70s, one of the more popular TV shows was the TV movie of the week. You never knew what you'd get and they weren't big budget special effects masterpieces. It was a pretty bad story in retrospect, but as a little kid, I was fascinated by the thought that there could be stuff on the other side of the sun that we've never seen.
On alt earth, there is someone who looks just like you, lives your identical life, but slightly backwards. When our hero astronaut got stranded on akt earth, his twin from alt-earth was stranded here. The drama was the astronaut coming to the realization that he was not home and that wasn't his wife

It was all explained in a 70s documentary about the first time we sent astronauts to the far side of the sun. There resides an alt earth where our doppelgangers read English from right to left. Everything is backwards there. So I guess any rogue asteroids over there will be absorbed by alt earth and we'll be safe here. It's sciency stuff. Might be too sophisticated for you to understand.

I have an AI/ML company that trains 911 operators how to do their job. It changes scenarios (fire, ambulance, cops, etc), languages, accents, background noises ( operator has to change script based on dogs barking, gun shots, violent threats). We have the ML learning telemed applications now.

No. It's a good reduction in carbon emissions, but it's no where close to net zero.

No, bad analogy. Plant based fuels, which I endorse to a degree, require continuous inputs of fossil fuels at every step, which I was trying to demonstrate with the supply chain. Nuke fuels produce WAY more energy than the fossil fuels needed to get that system started. Nukes could power an electric maintenance fleet, plant fuels can not.

Well if the plants are planted, grown, harvested, transported, processed, transported, used as fryer oil, stored, transported, reprocessed, transported, stored, and then used to fuel the plane without fossil fuels, it's net zero. So...maybe?

LYNK Global is launching additional sats this year to enable a future where cell towers will be in space. Texting in some parts of the world will be active this year. As more sats fly, data and voice will begin. It will take 5000 small sats to go full data from any where on earth, but that is going to take a while.
