Never even heard of the show until I saw this article. Maybe that's why it was canceled. Or someone thought themselves more important than they were and management deciding enough is enough. There's a little tell in her telling them she was stepping down when her demands were not met. But basically begging for her job back when told they were canceling the show. Her bluff was called.

It's feasible if people suddenly decide enough is enough. Imagine if they spend money converting offices to apartments ( that's not really going to work) but nobody buys or rents an apartment. They are left sitting on property that costs them money. NYC prices are crazy and the knock-on effect hurts house buyers and renters alike. A friend of mine sold his parent's house for around $600,000 back 2003/4. His parents paid $53,000 for it back in the 70s. The houses in my area are going $1.3 million on average. You tell me how a house that is built for less than $53,000 (because builders have to have made a profit on the sale) is now worth $1.3 million and up? The property market is being controlled and bought by companies that don't want the ordinary citizen to be able to buy even a starter home. Ask your grandparents how they were able to buy a house car have holidays etc on one salary. While today both people have to work just to rent a 2 bedroom apartment. And the second bedroom is barely large enough to put bunkbeds in.

If they do manage to turn the offices into apartments. Then those looking to rent or buy need to lowball the offers. 3 bedroom apartment for $1200 tied in for years. The knock-on effect will be felt in all the boroughs of NYC and further out. Renting or buying will once again become affordable for real New Yorkers.

Ever think your kids are just in a shit school where the administration doesn't give a fuck? I'm telling you about my experience with the school system. Why would I lie about something that hundreds of thousands of people experience? My kid's are now teenagers and they had to get the booster shots. With a letter from their doctor confirming that they had the shots. I'm not anti vacc. I think everyone should have them.

Look it's not one child it's hundreds of them and schools have had outbreaks of measles and chicken pox. Because they have relaxed the rules. You don't have kids yourself because you would know that your children are precious. You obviously didn't get that feeling as a child yourself that you were loved.

Absolutely I think NYC residents are being held to a different standard. As you pointed out they are being treated as an exception to the rule. Once my children entered the NYC education system they had to be vaccinated before they could attend school. When they needed their booster shots. Again it had to be proven that they had received them before they could start the new year of school. These kid's apparently are spreading highly infectious diseases because they are not vaccinated. Are you a parent with children in the NYC school system?

My point is, no child is allowed tend school if they are unvaccinated. I wasn't given 30 days to get them vaccinated. I was told proof had to be shown to the school before my children could attend/ start back to school. Is that clear enough? Pretty sure other parents living in NYC will tell you the same thing.

I got a letter, as I'm sure every other NYC parent did telling me before school even started that my kids had to be vaccinated or else they could not attend the first day back nor could they attend school until vaccinated. If they are attending school unvaccinated they most definitely are being held to a different standard.

How much is a hot dog from your country? And assuming you've had a hot dog before. Why would you pay $23 for one? $5 Would be over the top. Call 311 and report him. Chances are he doesn't even have a vendors license.

Buffalo is several hours drive away so count that out. If you're planning on just staying in around Manhattan. Then you don't need a car. MTA will get you where you need to go and again Google maps will give you fastest route from a to b using it. Car rental will be more expensive over festive season. So use uber if you want comfort.

You mean, not one of your friends invited you to Thanksgiving dinner? You need to find new friends. I have two single guys who come over every Thanksgiving and Christmas day for dinner. Been doing it for the last twenty years. It's a tradition now. I don't think they can get out of it now even if they wanted to lol.
