Yeah - and goes so far as to actually spy on his top secret calls, and tail him in a van with a foreign spy agency (the CIA)???? Like…what???

Maybe I am dense, but clearly the writers want us to feel like Charlie is doing something bad. I am sure is their intent. But I find nothing wrong with him. He is just doing his job - bending a few rules but thats it.

EVERY OTHER CHARACTER - is brain dead or stupid. Like his wife think her husband needs to tell her about his top secret job in every scene??? And the CIA is running some half assed operation spying on the head of MI6? Just chilling with his wife in vans outside????

Yeah - there are a few scenes where she seems to act like she literally has no idea at all that her dad is a senior MI6 deputy. Like she she is brain dead.

The fact the wife of an M16 deputy (a wife who formerly was in the military nonetheless) honestly thinks he should be telling her everything about his work and his assets is too idiotic to believe. Let alone she feel she should follow her husband while he is out doing his job. This show stretches far to much.
