It's crazy to me how people could get wrapped up in a countryman's fortune as some representative of their nation.
Like if Musk continues to justifiably hemorrhage money because his car company is (over)valued like a tech company that has no direct bearing on me or certainly not the image of the US.

Not natively but he's a US citizen, unless you're arguing that US citizens who aren't born in the States aren't American.
