Needs to see the third one, to remind myself, even after a few defeats and failures, you can recover and bounce back. None of our lives are perfectly tuned like the diagram, but it gives us a good grading system to see that at any time we can get back to progress, like warren buffet stated, sometimes instead of bailing the water out of a hole in a boat, it’s better to simply hop ships.

Agreed.

That’s a good one, sounds like Brian Tracey who said, it doesn’t matter where you are coming from, it matters on where you are going.

And one from scripture, king Solomon,

For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

  • Ecclesiastes 9:4

This is why I like the rhythm of work, gym, church, for there is benefits in all three, with work, you collaborate with your boss and coworkers, increasing productivity and your finances, via good friendships, and with the gym, you team up with your brotherhood, collaborating on health and improving your body, strengthening it, and tuning it for longevity and athleticism, and with church, you pray and meditate with the fellowship, your pastors and church goers, studying scripture, encouraging each other and baring each other’s burdens and woes, and seeking the higher power.

Work, gym, church.

Friendship, brotherhood, friendship.

Pragmatic, practical and mystical.

Mind, body and spirit.

Keep going friends. Life is fight, it is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to live.

Whoa, that’s a good one, heard the Spanish proverb that says, if you can’t live longer, live deeper. Didn’t get that proverb but that’s a perfect fit for this diagram.

For me, I dislike any type of proverb or saying that talks about digging, I don’t want to go down, down is the grave, down is the pits, down is a hole, I want to climb, this is why I love the quote from Arnold Schwarzenegger which says you can’t climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets, don’t be afraid to fall, since how far can you fall, there’s the ground. Another grey one I keep is, Roosevelt, who said, when you feel that you’re at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. That is my favorite, because I can than tie another knot and pull my self up, and another knot and pull my self closer and closer until I climb out. Higher and higher, until I’m where I wanna be.

My mountain, my climb.

Could be, as Jim rhon says, no one man has all the answers, you can read one book, and it will say do this to live longer, and another book can cover that book and it will say you will die young, but fundamentals, philosophies and principles almost never change.

Jim was astute though that little Disciplines affect greater ones, and I agree, this is evidenced in both biblical teachings about slothfulness, which is laziness, proverbs gives us examples of what happens, it leads to folly, mistakes, errors and poverty. All power house business men believe in these principles, whether Brian Tracey with his book eat that frog, he deals with time management and organizing regiments, tallying away unproductive time countering them with good habits. Jack Canfield with the law of attraction in chicken noodle soup for the soul, being around productive people also shimmy’s off you, being around lazy people also snips on you. So this is almost a universal law, Jim has it as a modem, like the seasons, we see even in nature animals like ants harvest, squirrels harvest and birds do too, you have to think summer al winter long, and think winter all summer long, but ultimately go with the seasons is best, all philosophers say the same thing, the Viking book Havamal says the slothful wolf starves, but the hunter gathers and is made fat.

We have two decisions, the pain of discipline, or the pain of regret, I know it’s not easy, but we see these things are universal laws, follow them and practice them, the dhammapada of Gautama Buddha explains the heedful and diligent man leads to joy, the negligent and unheedful man to sorrow and death.

Getter done.

Thanks Zig, my powerhouse 5, Zig ziglar, Jim rhon, Brian Tracey, Jim rhon, Les brown, and Jack Canfield, always got me through hard times, and will keep getting me through them, had a few of their books, and will get more of them, but what made me realize was, that I also have to be diligent and prudent in who your collaborators and converser’s are, via your circle group, of friendship, brotherhood and fellowship are, for as, these great men are our men who can guide us to prosperity by applying their disciplines and habits, it is the people who we work with directly that effects us, nothing will beat your Circle group.

But always a breath of fresh air to see these great men, thanks zig.
