Diff fluid is one of the easiest things you can do and is a huge money maker for shops. Costs them about $10 in fluid for a jeep. Grab a pan and a 3/8 drive and save yourself $380.

The smaller operators don’t advertise much but ask for Jimmy in Lebanon. He is one of the most safety conscious and lives nearby so he is almost always available on short notice. Low hourly rates there too.

If you have the time for a bit of a drive, then try flight training in Lebanon or Bolivar or another small airport nearby. Rental hours, instruction fees, and fuel costs are much cheaper and you aren’t in class B airspace.

I’ve had lawsuits for wage garnishments for $800 medical bills. No fucking way is a debt collector going to let student loan debt upwards of $200k slip by without legal punishment. I guess you could get addicted to crack and become homeless. Can’t garnish wages if you don’t have any.

The labor unions are pretty weak in this area. I make more as a non Union electrician than I would if I joined the IBEW. Joplin is even worse for union. Unions are pretty strong in KC and StL though.

If every apartment manager was to evict every person that smokes weed in their apartment or cigs on their balcony, then the homeless population would increase by 10,000% within 60 days. Just rent a house or better yet buy one and have fewer low rent neighbors.
