I am assuming you are trying to stay near Providence, but I have a bedroom opening up in my 3 bedroom apartment in South Kingstown, Feb 1. Rent/utilities is about $800 per month. Assuming you live close to URI? Definitely a local beach! Maybe also the seawall, or point Judith lighthouse. Not sure about your interests, but the Umbrella Factory is a cool spot, the Ocean Mist or maybe a local brewery like Whalers. A local seafood restaurant for clamcakes and chowder.
