I have a new house with a 200 amp box. By code it seems every room outlets, lights etc have separate breakers. It fills the whole box. It's stupid in my opinion. I also hate arc fault breakers too.

I always use silicone. We used it at work all the time. Wet your finger when smoothing it out.

1000 watts at 120v is less than 10 amps. 12 gauge will do even at that length.

I would just go out and buy the proper light you want. They don't cost much. Unless you just like tinkering with things which is ok too :)

They look very sturdy and well made. Not like the cheap aluminum ones we have in the US.

Where is this? I've never seen gutters or downspouts like this.

This one of those local building code things you should check into. Just because it works doesn't mean it's within code. It can't hurt to ask.

I would contact the town to see if they have any regulations for this first. They might check with the gas company. The contractor might get his hands slapped for not finishing the job properly. My town has an app and I can send them a picture from my phone and they respond same day.

You can buy vinyl floor glue remover at the hardware store. That may work. If not, I used a propane torch and heated it up then scraped it off.

I used hydraulic cement for this same issue in my house. I also dug a French drain outside for the downspout about 6 feet from the house. It's best to do this now before it gets worse. You don't want mold or mildew buildup starting either.

My father in law was also a Morse code operator in WWII in Alaska and he listened to the Japanese transmissions. He said they would change the code mid stream so all of a sudden you had no idea what you were listening too.

Reply to Tile over tile by [deleted]
Putting new tile over old tile is a bad idea. It will also make the wall too thick for the fixtures so that will be another issue. It's not easy to glue something to ceramic tile.

How old is this water heater? Gas heaters will usually last 8 to 12 years. If you do routine maintenance to the burner anyway.

It depends on where you live. I would check local codes first. One town I lived in required conduit and another town I lived in required BX cable or Conduit but not Romex cable. Don't ask me why.
