I have a lot of lower back issues. They're different for everyone but I have a few things I do really consistently.
Yoga & low/no weight back exercises
Icing multiple times a day (heat causes inflammation so even if it feels good it usually feels worse after)
Seeing a chiro regularly to get adjusted, ultrasounded, and electrostim
Edit
I totally forgot someone else said standing desk, that's key & one other thing, get a good chair for sitting. Something that really supports your back.
