You maybe in for an unexpected world of hurt. If the vehicle was uninsured and not registered, they my fine you for each day the car was on the road unregistered/ uninsured. And to boot, it will go against the registered owner’s license until the fines are paid before you can register another car in the state. They may suspend your license as well until everything is satisfied. It’s disheartening to read such a blatant disregard to ensure your vehicle was road worthy via inspections and no insurance.

The people looking to sell, are facing the housing premium you are, they are just passing the cost along. Unfortunately, you may have to rent for a year until things stabilize on pricing and interest rates. Good luck in your search!

Lots of change happening in Yonkers for the better! You will be fine in the area if you just be mindful of your surroundings. I grew up in that area and turned out just fine. During the summer months the guys like to gather on Warburton & Glenwood (Team Jadakiss) and another group on Warburton & Gold Street . No one gets out of hand with comments etc. and they are pretty protective of those who live in the immediate area. I’d check for an apartment in a private house north of Trevor Park , you might get a better bang for your buck. And figure out parking as it gets supper tough in the evening to find.
