Reply to Could a climate change denier please tell me that this weather is actually normal for February? by MarketplaceMallBTV
They wont tell you that climate (as in "climate change") is to weather what personality is to mood. Or that climate is to weather what an entire sports season is to a single game. Or that climate is to weather what your closet is to today's outfit.
They wont tell you this, because they loving pointing outside and saying "SNOW? There would NEVER be SNOW if climate change was REAL!" in their uneducated, disproportionately over-confident voice.

Reply to What's it like driving in the snow? by KevTravels
-
don’t drive in the snow, especially at night, unless necessary.
-
don’t drive in more than ~1/2” of snow unless you have experience.
-
drive a 4WD or AWD vehicle, if possible.
-
whatever the usual “cushion” you leave between you and the car in front of you is normally, triple it (If you have experience in the snow, double it).
-
drive slower. If you feel slipping, you’re too fast.
-
snow tires or new tires help.
-
ignore the occasional aggressive drivers trying to make you go faster (They know how to drive in the snow, you don’t).

Reply to School choice bills aim to deny private schools public money by casewood123
The whole point of a private school is that it’s private.
If the public is paying, it’s a public school.
Accordingly, any publicly-funded school (private or not) should be forced to comply with any regulations that apply to public school. Don’t wanna comply? That’s fine, but the public isn’t paying for your BS.
