In olympia theres a little antique shop called "fun junk". I can spend hours wandering in there, and they have a little liquorice boutique
Sumner and Centralia are both known for their antique shops. Centralia even has an antique shop festival in the summer

Look into local bookstores, you may be surprised how many are around near you

B&N has always been pricey, but tyey have definitely gotten more expensive over the years. I remember the transition of being able to to buy a book every month with my allowance as a kid to no longer asking to go because i couldnt afford them new
