Reply to Whale-watching tours off NJ coast in Jan? by GuyNBlack
I don't have experience whale-watching in January, so I don't know what to expect.
I did, however, live in Maine for many years, and went on a whale-watching tour during the summer. We didn't see any whales (inclement weather), so they gave us a (no time limit) credit for another tour (and said they would continue to do so until we actually watched a whale!).
Maybe they'll do that here? So if they don't see any whales this time, they can try again when they visit next?

Reply to Insurance in this state has so many different answers it is infuriating. by Affectionate_Market8
I have insurance through getcoverednj and get emails to renew on an almost daily basis. I went to the website, and it said I am enrolled for 2023, but I can make changes before 12/31. So I'm assuming these are auto-emails?
Can you access a website to confirm for yourself? The fact that you've already spoke to reps leads me to believe that you are indeed enrolled for 2023. Just my thoughts.

Reply to TIL Why Dog Paws Smell Like Fritos. Even the cleanest, healthiest pooch has trillions of bacteria and fungi living on their skin. That yeasty, corn chip smell is actually a normal byproduct of harmless bacteria, usually Proteus or Pseudomonas, both of which are naturally present in our environment. by Rossknight65

And as someone above said, it will be COLD. Spray is a thing. We were cold even during the summer.
