It is interesting that many of you say that it's quicker to drive to Dulles and to take the metro. How little you think of the person who is driving you who has to drive back.

Just because SUVs and pickup trucks are classified differently I still don't understand your conclusion. I do see that in 2009 Obama offered Cash for clunkers which actually encouraged to purchase of lower priced more fuel efficient vehicles. How does that equate to SUVs and pickups.

I agree that drivers do not pay attention but I also feel that pedestrians do not pay attention. While pedestrians have the right away in the crosswalk it appears that numerous pedestrians believe that if they are approaching a crosswalk they do not have to stop and look. I am not talking about crosswalks in which they have the right away because they have the green light.
