My goal with a pillow is that I don’t care how much it costs but it needs to be right for me so I get good quality sleep. I value my sleep far more than the cost of a pillow.
I wouldn’t even focus on BIFL for a pillow. I’d focus on the reviews and finding one that fits the style you sleep and ensures you have a quality sleep. It will drastically improve other areas of your life.

We have a Zinus metal bed frame from Amazon. It’s built like a tank and surprisingly incredible quality for the price point.
Thoroughly recommend them.

A Steelcase Leap is my wish list chair. I pretty actively search second hand. Just in case someone doesn’t know what they have.

I have one, it’s about 15 years old from the Presidents choice brand. It’s starting to die, son contemplating either a smeg or breville keep looking for more affordable options though. Because these are both quite pricey.

Yep I live in my blundstones daily from September until May. I wouldn’t recommend them for hiking. But day walking the dogs at the park yes. I prefer an actual hiking boot for hiking.

I travel carry-on only including for work and have for 20 years since I started travelling. From experience you want soft sided with pockets, expandable, good quality wheels and a resilient fabric.
Soft sided with pockets is easier for travelling. You’ve got your pouch to pull your liquids pouch out of easily for security. It will also squish a bit if you need it too. Gives you easy access to things you might need before boarding or when you land. Hard shell suitcases are a pain in the butt, get dinged up easily and won’t squish and they’re inconvenient for getting stuff in and out. They’re expansion capabilities often suck as well.
I have a Samsonite Silhouette Sphere 2 21 Which has been worth every penny and I absolutely love it. Going on 9 years with it, with pretty regular travel for work and personal every year except for 2020-now. My work travel is just starting up again. Edit to add I believe this one might be discontinued now.

I live some place that is regularly -40 and I don’t use a 1000 full duvet. You absolutely do not need one of that fill.
If you’re in the USA or Canada look for a nearby Hutterite or a Amish community. I bought my duvet from them and it’s a tank.
