Oh no. Even in snow- especially in snow, ironically. The actually handle better if you have too much wheel in and your foot in the gas and intentionally wash it out a bit.

My parents had a 72 Carlo my grandad gave them as a wedding gift. They stored it for years, and after my dads Supra got stolen in the 90s, he was like “fuck it, I’m driving the muscle car!” and they had (another) built small block put in it. It would chirp on kickdown at highway speed.
