Got a quote from Sunrun for a lease in 2021 that had an associated $61k cash value. Total ripoff— Tesla quoted way less, maybe under $30k including a Powerwall.
Sunrun isn’t the way to go if you’re paying cash or financing.

Looks like I-91 between Hartford and Springfield have the lower snow band. Weird!

Yes! Express Lot 1 —-> elevator is awesome!

It’s not necessary to take the shuttle unless it’s hard for you to walk or something. Just walk to elevator.

Couple tips: technically illegal to cross state borders with it, but my best advice is be careful driving through New Hampshire. They do recognize out-of-state medical cards...just be careful with the quantity.
Maine has excellent products and fantastic prices. Make sure you go to medical place and not recreational. They take out-of-state cards just fine. Prices shown on the shelf include all taxes.
Edit: There’s a place in York that’s very fairly priced. Tops Farm.

Ehh, not sure that’s been the case. Most federal student loans for the past 10+ years have been Federal Direct loans, not funded by a private bank.

What I mean is with Lamont’s proposal, hospitals/collectors would be giving a 90% discount on debts owed. $20 Million to pay off $2 Billion.
With student loans and financial aid, the college isn’t giving a discount.

What do you mean there is a discount with Pell? If the student brings $5k in Pell Grants to the university, their student account is credited $5k and not a penny more.
Yes, student loans have probably caused tuition inflation. But the government wiping out medical debt at a 90% discount is definitely…a discount. Not really a good comparison.

Not really. For college, student loans and aid pay for tuition and fees at a $1:$1 ratio. There’s no discount.
This is “forcing” hospitals to negotiate perhaps $2 Billion in debt down to $20 Million. It’s a bargain.

Is the nail in the center of the tire? If it’s repairable, Town Fair Tire repairs tires for free.

You don’t need money to sue— if an attorney will take your case, they’ll just take a cut of the settlement.
It’s worth calling a few you deem reputable, and see if they’ll work the case for a cut of the settlement.

Ubiquiti Ailen router can do like 600/600 over WiFi. Maybe a little higher if you’re in the same room.
Tough to get more than that over WiFi.

Frontier Fiber, it’s symmetrical. Xfinity has pretty slow uploads comparatively.

Maine pegged minimum wage to inflation. They went from $12.75 to $13.80 this year, for example. Automatically by existing law.
Maine also has a minimum salary of $41,401. For otherwise salary-eligible workers.

This comments section is insanity.
Private, corporate developers have caused so many problems for the US housing market. In Maine, it’s easy to buy a small piece of land with public utilities ready to hook up and plop down a house. 3D printing a home that can be assembled and electrified within one day will save so much on labor costs alone.

Not if the technology/designs etc are only licensed to state housing authorities, such as MaineHousing (who is in on this specific project). The homes could be printed and assembled for close to cost.

How about the ghost guns (no serial number) and handguns with switches? Those don’t sound legal. They certainly aren’t legal for a drug user or seller to posses.
