Kirkland has a nice little downtown area with some personality. I didn’t realize that until I was there for the day a few years ago.

I’m in eastern Washington so I don’t have personal experience gardening in that area, but this looks like a good resource. They might also want to check out WSU’s Yakima county extension office and the Yakima conservation district office- they have a plant sale in the spring. My conservation district’s plant sale has some hard to find plants for cheap, because they’re all provided through volunteer labor by master gardeners from their own gardens.

Well, I’ve only had mine since May 2021 so I barely qualify as more experienced. But I’m always happy to talk duck.

I don’t think it’s an especially common allergy. Some people who can’t tolerate chicken eggs are fine with duck. Chicken eggs bother me too but not as much. Duck eggs have a lot going for them, and they have significantly more omega-3 without supplementing feed. I hope I didn’t worry you! I just thought it was kind of funny how it worked out for me

Me too! I found out I’m violently allergic to duck eggs after getting them, but I still want to get more!
