I’m mildly stressing out because I can’t find a particular document in a work file and I don’t want to find out I accidentally put it in a public file. The joys of office work

Sometimes people don’t listen to the normal ones either. (It’s how someone almost crashed into me.)

This is the last day of my current temp contract and I have another one lined up. As always the hours are unclear (I get told one schedule and it turns out not to be that schedule.)

Now I feel like I shouldn’t go because I have a wheat allergy but sometimes I tempt fate

I live near the Mechanicsville one and I try hard to avoid it. The one on Staples Mill is my favorite by far

I last had them in Eastern Colorado (it’s very Midwest there in culture or at least was back then.) Not sure how they would be in bbq sauce but I probably won’t find out (tomato allergy)

They’re good dipped in ranch (it’s been over ten years since I consumed some but I remember them being deep fried and dipped in ranch)

My ma does that too

I watched more than one rugby sevens match before ads have come on. Quite an exciting sport

They really try to frame themselves as Good Samaritans just trying to help the community but those of us who have been down the rabbit hole of research know the truth

Turns out one of the members has a sub stack (sort of like a newsletter blog thing) called “Tales from a Domestic Terrorist” and yeah, I’m quite unimpressed (read I am quite uncomfortable)

I’m just glad I’ve never actually met any of the poor sods. I honestly can’t stand them, I know once upon a time I would have thought they were acceptable but I educated myself and recognize they spew hate speech not love

We have rules about what we can and cannot say as elections officers. Anybody who breaks the rules gives us a bad name and I despise them. We cannot mention anything that could be deemed political

Honestly not surprised but also after reading some of his posts on his personal account. I honestly can’t stand him and would never dream of joining the organization

I only hated three of mine. Two openly played favorites and one was not a great teacher in general.

Congratulations on leaving the place. I respected almost all of the teachers I had in Hanover

It’s fun, if you can you should do it. We’re always looking for more people. I was 19 when I started

Oh trust me I can’t stand them. Pretty sure the leader and some of his pals went to January 6. If you want me pissed off, all you have to do is imply that elections officers aren’t properly checking people in and miscounting votes. (I am an elections officer so that’s why I get pissy about them.) I would never ally myself with those people, especially because of their stance on LGBT+ people. (Also unless you want to support someone who supports them, don’t shop at Books Beads and More. The owner is a fan of that group)

I think the Hanover Patriots had something to do with it (I don’t particularly respect that group.)

I highly recommend it. It’s definitely worth it

Yes, there’s a good number of them and if I remember correctly one of the stations is located near or in Union station. (I didn’t take it last time because I wanted to walk around.) I happen to really like the train because I hate driving in general
