I don't know if anyone from the DOT or local (town & city) know what it means to make a detour... For a road that is blocked the detour sign has you getting off onto another road and THAT IS IT!!!
THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL DETOUR SIGNS GETTING YOU BACK ON YOUR ROUTE!!
I travel throughout Connecticut for my job and I experience this far too often.. Thankfully my gps saves me...

Between the signs that don't match the construction, a lack of cops directing traffic in highly populated areas, and signs that don't state lane closures. I feel although its just creating unnecessary chaos across the state. by StankyDudeHoleDandy
