Weather is a lot rougher in the winter near Pittsburgh if that’s a concern. I was in Johnstown last Tuesday, and there was 4” of snow on the ground from the previous week that hadn’t melted at all.
Sprawl isn’t as big, but traffic is only bad on 30 going through York in Central Pa.
