It is very hard finding a dentist you can trust. I've been going to Suncook Dental for a long time now and they've always treated me well, I've never felt taken advantage of, and they have only done what's necessary. I've been to other dentist in NH who have clearly recommended unnecessary procedures trying to drive up business in the Concord area. Be careful, be choosey, and don't be afraid to try a few dentists out.

You beat me to it. I was just going to post this article. This is absolutely outrageous! It's grossly inhumane; they are people for crying out loud. Sanford is skirting their own responsibilities while the people of Manchester have to pick up the tab, even if we don't have the resources to support them. I wish the article outlined what happened to the woman. There were no beds at the shelter, so where did she end up?

It's absolutely outrageous! To wipe out a keystone species that supported and entire ecosystem, causing death and devastation to much of the local wildlife, negatively impacting the cultural experiences of local community residents, and likely harming local property values, simply because a group of snowmobilers wanted to protect their precious bridge. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I would be incensed if I were a community member.

There were so many mitigating actions they could have taken to address their concerns, such as clearing the previously existing drain, putting in a new drain, raising the bridge, or some other solution to address their concerns. It's called "maintaining" for a reason. Instead, they went DEFCON 5 and destroyed and killed everything. It's completely asinine. That would be like going to the dentist for a minor surface cavity and asking them to remove all of your teeth so that you never have a cavity again. It's preposterous!

You should consider coming here with a study abroad program. This will allow you to have a taste of what NH has to offer for a few months without needing to make any long term commitments. I did a quick search, and here are the schools in NH that have study abroad programs:

  • New England College
  • Keene State College
  • University of New Hampshire
  • Plymouth State University
  • Dartmouth
  • Southern New Hampshire University
  • Franklin Pierce University
  • Granite State College
  • Rivier University
  • Saint Anselm College
  • Manchester Community College (NH)

You can also explore doing an internship in between semesters. There are lots of places that offer internships in NH! Some places that I know of are DEKA, Texas Instruments, BAE Systems, WMUR, Merchants Fleet, VHB, and so many more!

Good luck!

Can you explain that more? When you say "compete with the parade", are they worried that people wouldn't show to the parade because they're trick or treating, so they move trick or treating so that more people go to the parade? Or do you mean so that they have more police coverage available for both? I'm just confused.
