Nearly no one will do that. There are millions of gamers, and what? A few tens of thousands of people who are interested enough in AI content generation to buy a new GPU?

Well said, I had this talking point against using ChatGPT, but I never thought of using it.

Reread my top level comment. I said it is okay to use while learning. In my opinion, if you use such tools in graded assignments, you are hiding your own lack of knowledge and fooling yourself.
I mean, graded assignments are a flawed concept in education, but there is no real benefit in using tools like AI there since they do not reflect your own knowledge, unless you use the AI to do research like get a quick summary of what nihilism is about and then rephrase the output in your own words.

No, because you should learn how to spell without any external assistance. Just like how kids learn to do basic math on their own.

Why? IMO any content created by ChatGPT should not be taken into account when grading students' assignments since the student didn't create it in its final form with their brain (same reason why I feel that quotes by other people (unless using as an example and not to argue in favour of your own point), spellcheckers, and Grammarly should not be used by students for assignments that affect their grades, but can be used to learn how to write better), so there should be no benefit to using such content.

True that, it will be good for stock photos which don't need copyright. I was thinking of those few "AI commission artists" I saw on Deviantart, who were competing with traditional commission artists. But IMO the lack of copyright and the current state of AI art should help slow down those people from being commonplace and preserve traditional art.

And the people profiting from such content can't sue anyone who pirates the content. Good for traditional artists.

Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhopal_disaster
TLDR: There is an American chemicals company called Union Carbide, and they had a pesticide factory in Bhopal, India (around the geographical centre of India).
In December 1984, a storage tank at the factory, storing methyl isocyanate (a toxic gas) leaked due to a water leak into the tank (the gas reacts with water and causes a large increase in gas pressure), and the pressure broke the tank and all the gas leaked out. There were three safety devices installed to prevent this sort of problem, and all three were not working due to poor maintenance.
The gas leaked out to the nearby neighbourhoods, injuring more than 500,000 people. About 8,000 died within two weeks (another 8,000 are believed to have died years later due to long-term illnesses from the poisoning).
Union Carbide claims that it was sabotage by an employee, but there is no conclusive evidence whether it happened on its own or because of sabotage. But, Union Carbide had poorly maintained safety systems which could have stopped sabotage if they were properly maintained and functioning.

Nah but one of your companies gassed an entire city with a poorly maintained pesticide factory.
