Last resort for me would be dfu restore https://help.ifixit.com/article/108-dfu-restore It sort of resets everything, depending on how you change the back glass (did you peel of the glass and put something else instead or change the entire back case and moved all components over to it?)

It might rebalance the force again.

I also wondered about that. Eventually I use one daily, whenever I put my iPhone on a charge (I use MagSafe on a stand), it turns on a clock app. So it displays the time, date and battery percentage, it also dims the screen to 10% or so. It became a nice bedside clock. Also have a shortcut to put the rightness back up when I take it off the charge.

Just be careful for any messages saying, please send this text or authorisation number to this number to get your phone back. It’s all fake. There are many people reporting people trying to get into your iPhone with text messages to the original number or something.

here is a thread to see that people share experiences that their iPhones ends up back in China https://reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/vgfm6g/stolen_iphones_at_music_festivals_being_pinged/
