The problem is that interest accrues. So while the dollar amount was correct, it wasn't correct by the time the payment was attributed via some fraction of a cent. Which is why you need the special loan payoff amount

You should probably call and make sure the balance is actually zeroed. There is likely some mechanism like a partial fraction of a cent or the balance wasn't "paid in full" to close it out. Like a special payment you need to initiate.

I can't believe how few 30 for 30s are about hockey. I think only 3? (The 4th being all sports with the OJ chase thing).

I cant specifically think of any hockey stories to tell but it blows me away that there aren't more
