Idk, I can imagine an elf not having too much of a problem swimming long distances.
I didn't really have much issue with the show. I watched maybe six episodes and then kind of forgot about it. I keep meaning to finish it but just haven't been bothered. The thing is, it just never had much of a hook besides being LOTR. The entire time I was... Whelmed. It was just very mid-tier.

You can have zero discussion about Stephen King or any of his works on Reddit without that scene being prevalent in the thread. It's fucking rediculous - the accusations they throw his way most especially.

Does it hold up? I absolutely loved it when it was on the air but I feel like it'd be pretty corny now lol. Honestly don't really remember much.

Summer of 2021 in BC Canada we had the heatdome. It broke numerous records. Forest fires everywhere. One town, Lyton, reached 50°C before something sparked a fire and the town was pretty much wiped off the map.
Summer of 2022, we had the hottest, driest summer on average ever recorded. Temperatures didn't sky rocket like in 2021, but trey stayed up longer than usual. We only had our first real rainfall the other day. It was warm through until mid October. Like, shorts weather. Normally once September rolls around it rains pretty consistently.
And that doesn't even touch on the smog/smoke we keep dealing with or the floods that wiped out our highways.

That's actually the role that made me take notice of him. He stole every scene he was in, and put me on edge. I didn't realize it was him until I went to IMDb afterwards and had a hard time accepting that it was the same kid from Kick Ass.

Kraven the Hunter, like the Spiderman villain? Didn't know he was cast in that role. I could see him making it work, but I doubt the movie will be any good assuming Sony is going the Venom/Morbious route.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Went a little off the rails by the end though...
Edit: I can't overstate how much Aaron Taylor-Johnson continues to surprise me as an actor. The dude has some serious chops.

Idk, I'm not religious in any way but I think as long as something is done well I don't mind. Adding religion to something can be fascinating, and I like how Signs pulled it off.
Take Stephen King. He often has religious elements in his works with his scifi. The Stand is probably the most obvious. But take The Dark Tower. It's a western, scifi, fantasy, meta, literary work of art wrapped in a bow of religious allegorical crazyness!
